Day 52: Corning to Cazenovia

Another day, another beautiful 100 mile ride! Quite chilly this morning when we started (~45 F) and it only got into the low 60s by the time we finished. Definitely glad I had some cold gear. Beautiful ride through Watkins Glen and Ithaca on our way to Cazenovia. I felt good this morning, but my legs got heavier and heavier throughout the course of the day. It’s probably the most tired my legs have felt the whole trip. I’m hoping it’s just post-rest day lag, but it could also be simply cumulative “abuse.”

We are staying in a beautiful old mansion that’s been turned into a hotel right on the lake. Dinner was fantastic…hoping that’s a good sign that breakfast may be “elevated” as well.
