Fun day today – we got to take a boat! First, it was a very late start. We didn’t leave the hotel until 11:00 AM so we had the pleasure of a lazy morning. From the hotel, we rode 3 miles to the ferry dock, then boarded the express ferry across Lake Michigan to Muskegon (about 2.5 hours on the water). From Muskegon, we rode about 35 miles south to Holland. It ended up being a late day as we lost an hour when we entered Michigan, our ninth State!
