Today’s ride culminated an eight day stretch where we covered 800 miles! It was a fun ride through Wisconsin’s Driftless Area. Lots of rolling farms, Amish country, more corn, and steep, punchy climbs. We had a great coffee stop about 30 miles in which really lifted everyone’s spirits and perhaps also the pace. After lunch we found a road closure so we detoured onto a gravel road for about 7 miles – super fun!
