After a really hard day yesterday, today was all about trying to recover. Both of today’s climbs were early on and I took it very easy. We were fortunate to have some nice cloud cover and reasonable temps for most of the day. The last 50 miles were trending down (overall we lost about 2000 feet of elevation), and Dan, Bill, and I worked a good paceline, so the after lunch part of the ride kind of flew by. We picked up Kyle and Nick along the way, and almost caught Peter. Photo creds to Nick and Scott.
