Hard day today mostly due to heat and wind. Garmin says the average temperature on today’s ride was 91 degrees! We were fortunate to have some tree cover, but you can tell that won’t last much longer. Not much fun getting out of Portland; lots of homeless people camped on the bike trails, along with associated debris. We also had to ride about 6 miles on I-84 just before we got to Hood River…also not much fun.
