Wow, what a day for a ride! Perfect weather in the morning, sunny and cool with almost no wind. The route we took was fantastic – great road with very little traffic and lots of trees for shade. Lunch was a taco bar in a campground, complete with freshly grilled chicken – yummy! As expected, it did get hot the last 20 miles or so, and traffic certainly picked up as we got into Portland. Overall, though, a great day on the bike! And now for some serious recovery before it all begins again tomorrow.
